PHASE 1
Describe profiles of biosecurity practices in different farm types involved in foie gras production before the 2015-2017 HPAI epidemics in Southwest France.
This first phase should help describe the situation in a supposed heterogeneous population. Handling of such complex data can be facilitated with descriptive epidemiology tools (Multiple Correspondence Analysis).
PHASE 2
Identify determinants involved in biosecurity compliance in foie gras duck farms specialized in rearing and grow-out in Southwest France.
This work will determine how important the links are between sociological and psychological context, knowledge, attitudes and current practices of biosecurity.
PHASE 3
Assess the efficacy of biosecurity interventions in foie gras ducks farms specialized in rearing and grow-out in Southwest France.
This task aims at identifying the types of trainings with most effect on the compliance of biosecurity measures in farms from task 2.
